How often we publish, and why it is not more
At most four articles in any 30 days, and usually fewer. The build fails above that. It is a limit we put on ourselves because the alternative is the thing this industry does.
We do not publish “what is X” pages. Google classifies high-volume informational content as scaled content abuse — pages generated to move rankings rather than to help anyone — and more to the point, nobody in a clerk’s office needs another definition of WCAG.
Every article is written by a named person and nothing here is generated by a language model. Where an article uses somebody else’s research it says whose, links it, and states the sample size and the method before quoting the finding.
The first article is not published yet
This section will carry articles about the Title II deadlines, document accessibility, procurement and testing — written for the person who carries the obligation.
The feed is already live, so subscribing now means the first one arrives.
Subscribe
Both feeds carry the full article, not a teaser. There is no email newsletter and no signup form — the feed is the subscription.
What we will not publish
- Findings about a named public entity. Not here, not in a report, not in a ranking of one entity against another, and not anonymised in a way that identifies anyone.
- A definition page whose only job is to rank for a definition.
- Anything generated by a language model, in whole or in part.
- A paid placement, a sponsored post, or an article written by a vendor about their own product. If we are ever paid or incentivised for anything published here, it is disclosed on the article itself.
- A comparison that names a competitor without a primary source that names them first.
- A case study using a serving public official’s title, or any testimonial that implies government endorsement.
Corrections
Every correction stays on the article, dated, with what changed. We do not silently edit.
If a figure here is wrong, corrections@barrierops.com reaches a person. Tell us and we will fix it and say we did.
Substantive corrections are noted in the feed too, as an updated item carrying the date it changed.
